"As a leading voice in the battle to improve the health and living conditions of our community's children, the Lead Action Collaborative has committed itself to the principle that children must not be unduly exposed to harmful lead in their surroundings. I applaud the dedication they have shown to the Commonwealth's youth through their efforts."

- Senator Edward M. Kennedy (Nov. 16, 2001)
