The Lead Action Collaborative is a partnership of non-profit organizations, foundations, and government agencies that has been working to substantially reduce the incidence of childhood lead poisoning in Boston's highest risk neighborhoods since 1993.

Founded in 1993 by John MacIsaac, ASAP Environmental protects homeowners and community groups by conducting efficient and effective inspections for the environmental hazards of lead and mold.

Boston Department of Neighborhood Development

Boston DND is committed to making Boston "the most livable city in the nation" through providing services and programs to the city's neighborhoods.

Boston Public Health Commission

The Boston Public Health Commission, the oldest health department in the country, prides itself on providing innovative and preventive services to keep the residents of Boston healthy.

Clean Water Action

Clean Water Action is an organization of 1.2 million members, which works to protect America's waters and to build healthier communities.

Codman Square NDC

The Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation is based in Codman Square, Dorchester, and is aimed at improving the lives of residents of the neighborhood and stabilizing the community. The Codman Square NDC attempts to reach these goals through real estate development, economic development, and community organizing.

Dorchester Environmental Health Coalition

The Dorchester Environmental Health Coalition was founded in 2003 and is a community-led network of residents, businesses, institutions and non-profits. The Dorchester Environmental Heath Coalition works to ensure environmental justice in Dorchester as well as improve sustainability in the neighborhood.

ESAC

The Ecumenical Social Action Committee, Inc. was founded in 1969 by a group a social activists looking to evoke social justice in Jamaica Plain. Today, ESAC is committed to ensuring the stability of the neighborhood and improving the quality of life of the residents.

Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance

MAHA was founded in 1985 and organizes to break down the barriers for low and moderate income first-time homebuyers and increase private and public investment in affordable housing.

Massachusetts Department of Public Health

The Massachusetts DPH is dedicated to serving all the people in the Commonwealth, particularly the underserved, and to promote healthy people.

The EPA is an agency of the federal government which is charged with protecting human health and the environment.

Urban Edge

Urban Edge is a community development corporation which partners with community members, businesses, and government in Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and other communities. Urban Edge achieves its goals through the development of affordable, high quality housing, assistance to small businesses, homeownership education, and assistance in the development of educational facilities.
